How
much does it cost?
At
the present time we offer two types of advertising: Banners
and Sponsors.
Banners
appear at the top of each of the resource pages and are
rotated through all advertisers equally. We guarantee at
least 5000 views of your banner during the course of a year's
subscription which costs a flat rate fee of $50.00. Thus
your banner ad costs only one cent per view. Compare this
with typical costs of four to five cents per view.
The
Sponsors option places a link to your site
on every page viewed at WaldorfWorld. Based upon our past
experience, we expect to provide at least 100,000 page
views per year which makes the Sponsor option very reasonable
at only $75.00 per year.
How
many hits per year are there?
We
do not normally count page "hits" which, for technical
reasons, are misleading. In Internet advertising, the most
common measure is referred to as page "views".
A page view is simply one reader viewing one "page"
such as this one.
Based
upon our experience with WaldorfWorld's sister sites,
bobnancy.com and WaldorfShop.net, we expect at least 100,000
page views during the first year of operation at WaldorfWorld.
What
kind of images can I use for banners?
The
specifications for banners are:
- banners
must be either in jpeg or gif format. Animated gifs are
fine.
- banner
size must be either 328 by 64 pixels or 468 by 60 pixels.
These are industry wide standard sizes.
- banner
files are limited to 14KB maximum
- animated
gifs are limited to 7 seconds duration, no looping.
If
you need further information about the specifications or

How
do I get started?

and when you would like to begin advertising. We will contact
